Beginner Crochet Cowl
This class is for those who have never crocheted or who are still learning basic crochet techniques. The skills that will be taught are the following: holding a crochet hook and yarn, foundation chain stitch, puff stitch and basic finishing. Students will make a stylish cowl, either as a loop or a rectangle with a button closure. After completing this class, you will be well on your way to becoming a crocheter!

Supplies for classes must be purchased at Black Sheep Yarns
- Puff Cowl Pattern (provided)
- 5.5mm crochet hook
- One skein of worsted weight yarn e.g. Cascade 220, Malabrigo Rios. Choose a smooth yarn in a light or medium colour
- Optional: buttons
- scissors, darning needle, stitch markers, measuring tape or ruler
