We know when a box from Lorna’s Laces arrives that we are in for a treat! We received our backorders of Lorna’s Laces Sock Yarn as well as Helen’s Lace (50% silk, 50% merino). We also have bins overflowing with Rowan Kidsilk Haze. If you love this yarn as much as we do, then you will want to check out Judy’s “Sara Mittens” by Alison Crowther-Smith. -”Rowan’s Greatest Knits” which contains a sampling of some of the most memorable Rowan patterns from the past 30 years. A beautiful hardcover book which would make a great gift for any knitter.

-”The Knitter’s Book of Wool” is the ultimate guide to understanding, using and loving wool. Clara Parkes is also the author of “The Knitter’s Book of Yarn” which was one of the best selling books in the store last year and is a personal favorite of mine. Looking through this new book, I see the same wealth of information combined with a great collection of patterns.

-”One More Skein” is a collection of 30 quick projects to knit, and isn’t this what we are all looking for this time of year! If you enjoyed “One Skein” the previous book by Leigh Radford, you should check this one out.
