Love Note - A Sweet Little Lace Sweater
This sweet little top-down sweater knits up quickly with a combination of lace weight mohair and single ply fingering weight merino, creating a fabric that is floaty and soft. Learn all the tips to make this popular design from Alexa of Tin Can Knits! Choose a size from infant to 4XL and with a high-low hemline and two length options, what's not to love?
During the first class Alexa will discuss how to create colours when combining your 2 yarns, as well as how to choose your size. You will then start your project with a crochet provisional cast on. You will start the lace yoke in the second class and learn to read a simple lace chart. In the third class you will divide for the sleeves and be shown how to do the high-low hemline using German short rows.
Students should be proficient with basic knitting skills prior to taking this class.
