Are you ready to expand your knitting skills and techniques? Whether you have recently learned to knit or have been knitting for a while, this two-session class is for you. Receive expert guidance in the following skills: various decrease and increase methods, various cast-ons and bind-offs, joining yarn, and reading patterns and charts. Perhaps the most important skill students will be taught is how to unpick stitches (un-knit or "tink"). Knowing how to correct mistakes is one of the most essential tools a knitter can possess. Other techniques may also be covered, depending on available time and student interest. Before taking this class students should be proficient with the knit and purl stitch. Please note that students will need to prepare a swatch to bring to the first class.
