Spinzilla

Spinzilla is a global annual event put on by the National Needlearts Association as a way of encouraging the art of spinning and helping spinners develop theirs skills. It lasts for one week (Oct 6-12) and participants are encouraged to spin as much yarn as they possibly can in that time, then report back to their team captain at the end. The team with the most yardage wins! There are lots of prizes and events throughout the week. Beginners are welcome too!

Heidi Braacx of Vegan Yarns is hosting a Spinzilla Team. Many of you may know Heidi as she is a local spinner/dyer who also distributes Pakucho cotton, which we carry at the store.
