Step by Step Sweater

Cast on and learn all the techniques you need to make your first sweater. The Step By Step Sweater is a simple raglan top down sweater with no complicated techniques, perfect for your first garment knitting project. It has a relaxed fit and two options for the neckline. There is optional short row shaping.

Students must be confident with basic knitting such as cast on, knit and purl, prior to taking this class.

Students should make a gauge swatch prior to the first class.

Materials:  Supplies for classes must be purchased at Black Sheep Yarns

• "Step by Step Sweater" pattern (free on Ravelry)
• Worsted wt yarn in amount for your chosen size eg De Rerum Natura Gilliatt
• 4.5mm circular needle in length appropriate for your chosen size
• 5.5mm circular needle                 "                         "
• stitch markers (ring & locking), scissors, darning needle
