Filcolana Vilja

Vilja is a is a 3-ply yarn spun from fibres of Peruvian alpacas. It is soft, warm, and pliable, and perfectly suitable for many kinds of projects. 

In the South American Highlands, the temperature can vary between +30 and -20 degrees in a single day. The hollow structure of the alpaca fibres makes room for air bubbles, making the fibre breathable on warm days and isolating on cold nights. This makes the alpacas suitable for living in the highlands and makes the alpaca fibre perfectly suitable for clothing as well.

Vilja was previously sold under the name Indiecita.
