Beautiful Buttons!

Black Sheep Yarns has been a go to place to shop in person for the perfect buttons to complete your knitted garments. We have now added a button section to our online store! This section offers our highest quality buttons, particularly those made from natural materials such as shell and corozo.

Shell buttons can be made from many types of shells, including some from the waste product of the shellfish industry (eg Agoya or Akoya shells, oyster, abalone). Corozo buttons are derived from palm or tagua nuts which was previously referred to as vegetable ivory. It is extremely hard wearing, smooth and scratch resistant and eco-friendly. We also have some beautiful Italian enamelled metal buttons and a few novelty buttons on the online store.
