John Arbon Yarnadelic Worsted

This beautiful, bouncy wool is now available in worsted weight. The original sport weight has been a big hit. The composition of Yarnadelic lends itself to a thicker weight as the lofty nature means it won't become too heavy even when used for a big project. The rounded 3 fold structure enhances the fibres natural stitch definition and drape, creating the ideal all round go to yarn for everything from cables to lace and garments to accessories.

Yarnadelic is 100% Falklands Corriedale. The breed is around 100 years old and was derived by crossing the Merino and Lincoln Longwool. Its properties are a perfect balance of delightful softness and bounce from the Merino combined with the slight lustre and long staple length of the Lincoln Longwool – a fibre lover’s dream!

This Corriedale is farmed in the Falkland Islands – ensuring that the animals have been treated with the utmost care and are free from harmful mulesing. The fibre has then been dyed in the UK and lovingly prepared, blended and spun at the John Arbon mill in North Devon Mill.
