I Kint London

I Kint London

By Black Sheep Yarns | | Blog | 0 comments
I made a quick stop at I Knit London at the end of my recent holiday to Europe. Located on the South Bank, just a short walk from the Waterloo tube station, their bright yellow sign is easily recognizable. I was fortunate to find owner Gerard Allt in the store and couldn’t resist picking up a skein of his hand dyed “I Knit or Die” sock yarn. The two store mascots joined my son Ben on the sofa, while he waited for me to have a look around. Also a licensed bar, you can enjoy a pint or two while...

Casting on with Dandelion, the newest addition to our selection of Madelinetosh yarns. This single ply custom blend of 90% superwash merino wool and 10% fine linen, is a fingering weight yarn.  So far it feels similar to knitting with Tosh Merino Light, but the linen gives it a bit more of a rustic look.
