If you want to make the perfect little Easter bunnies, try the Little Cotton Rabbits patterns by Julie Williams. She has step by step instructions and photos and I was certainly not able to stop at one!  Then there are her mice, bears, elephants... We are open our usual store hours over the Easter weekend and Knit Night is cancelled on Monday evening.

We have some new options for those who are wishing to learn a new technique or get back on track with a knitting project. Sign up for our "Beyond Beginner" class if you prefer a regularly scheduled class where you can get support while you knit any project. If you prefer a more one-on-one approach, then you can arrange a two hour "Just For You" private lesson. For those with an unpredictable schedule, we have "Knitting 911", a drop in session on Wed afternoons between 1pm & 3pm. For further details on all these options, check out the classes page.

The Heart On My Sleeve ebook is a charity project in support of the Against Malaria Foundation. Nine designers, including our local Alexa Ludeman of Tin Can Knits, have worked together to create a beautiful collection of simple and satisfying yoke sweaters. Many yarn companies generously provided yarn for the projects and when you buy the ebook, $16.80 of the $18 US purchase price goes to the charity.

"Mad Colour" has designs which are meant for playing with colour. There are some great designs for those new to colourwork, slip stitch, stripes and intarsia.
